WAYFN Capter Four
In the book What Are You Figuring Now many key evens happened in chapter four. Firstly,there was a big stable and mill being built in the valley,they were building the mill to grind the wet so that the farmers can bring it in to make it in to flower. Secondly, the Eillcotts started a store in the Hollow and brought in newspapers and supplies. Then in December 1773, news came from Boston that some men had dumped three shiploads of British tea into Boston Harbor. The king of England was to greedy to notice the complaints so in 1775, the fist shots of the revolutionary war were fired at Lexington and Concord between American minutemen and British redcoats. In 1783, the Americans and the British signed a peace treaty and the war ended. The Americans won the war and America became a free country.

To keep his mind busy, he made up complicated math puzzles using numbers and plants and
animals.
2. How old was Benjamin in 1751? (1 Mark)
In 1751, Benjamin was 20 years old.
3. What made Benjamin’s heart jump like a rabbit? (1 Mark)
Benjamin's heart jumped like a rabbit when he saw the man with the gold watch.
4. What did Benjamin do with the watch when he got home? (2 Marks)
He take it apart and draw the pieces.
5. How many years after Benjamin borrowed the gold watch did it take for him to make all the pieces and put them back together again? (1 Mark)
In 1753 , two years after he had borrwed the gold watch, Benjamin all the pieces together.

A school was opening and that he can go.
2. Describe the events of Benjamin’s first day of school, fully. (3 Marks)
When he stared school he counted 10 other students on the benches the schoolmaster showed
him where to sit and gave him a little board with a handle called a hornbook.
3. How many other kids were in the school when Benjamin arrived on his first day? (1 Marks)
There were 10 students in the school.
4. After going to school for four winters what had Benjamin learned? (2 Marks)
Benjamin had learned all the arithmetic, geography, and spelling that his Quaker schoolmaster could teach him.

I like all different types of music. I'm not sure what bands I like or their songs but I like listening anyway. Listening to music makes me happy. I like to listen to music in the car.

Boring creates far less surface disturbance than cut and cover construction.

I uprooted a tree in my frontyard and moved it into my backyard.

The towns drinking water was contaminated by the sewage plant.

My teeth were gleaming after I came from the dentist.

It was gruelling while I was runing stinger.

Journal # 1 for Miss S.
The hardest thing I have ever done...was last years literacy prep.I just started high school and learned that I had to write a literacy prep. I felt really nervous because I thought that I couldn't have someone help me. It was the government how came up with this test because they expect that students should know this by now. I was sent to a room where I got help I was so relieved ! This year I'm in grade 10 and I finished writing the literacy test with help and it was OK.

2. Why is there a need for a subway system here? What issue will it resolve? Because they ease traffic problems.
3. The chief construction Engineer, John Adams plays what role in the process of creating a new subway system? He is the vice-president in charge of overall planning and construction.
4. What is the role of Roberta Greenwood? Roberta is the archaeologist that will over see the preservation of the valuable artifacts.
5. What can be learned from the process of analyzing the excavation site? We can learn about there lives, there diets, and about the people how lived their.
